The article discusses the feasibility and desirability of lobbying act in Russia. The author studies the experience of the legal regulation of lobbying in the U.S. and the EU. He draws a conclusion that the first steps to regulate lobbying in Russia should be done not by passing the fundamental law, but through the development of effective anti-corruption legislation. A set of measures is required - the ones that could bring the interaction between the government and the society to a new level and make it more transparent.
