Abstract:

The article considers a system of legislative acts which regulated activities of small business in the Soviet and post-Soviet times. It also examines the contemporary situation of adopting the Federal Law № 209-FZ „On the development of small and medium enterprises in the Russian Federation“ of 24.07.2007.
