The author's analysis shows that the average duration of the last 3 cycles in the U.S.A. is 8.917 years, while the average duration of cycles in the post-war period was 5.95 years. Perhaps this is how a new trend is forming, in which longterm economic prosperity is completely compatible with a frequent change of fixed capital. In addition, asynchronous cycles give way to their regional synchronicity: a US-European (including Russia) economic cycle has formed for the last 15-20 years.
