Abstract:

The article examines the situation that emerged after the reform of the Russian electric-power industry: high electricity tariffs for industrial enterprises hinder their development. The author believes that production modernization in the country is impossible under such conditions. It is necessary to regulate tariffs taking into account the possibilities of electricity consumers and conditions of the regions.
