Based on the analysis of statistical data on innovative activity of companies belonging to different sectors, the author summarizes actual perspectives of innovative development in the investment and construction sector. It is shown, that in the post-crisis environment, a real increase in the level of innovative activity can be achieved only by involving the mechanisms of public private partnership.
