Abstract:

The article examines the content, features and topical issues of the transport infrastructure development in the northern regions of the Russian Federation. The author proves the need for forming an integrated transport infrastructure as a key factor in modernizing the regional economy. He reveals the economic and social mechanisms for implementing the strategy of the transport infrastructure development in the Murmansk Region.
