Abstract:

The fragmentary nature of the state regulation of the securities market reduces effectiveness of this activity. To change the situation the foreign experience of forming the mega-regulator of the financial market can be used. Indirectly, this process is already underway in Russia. Its essence is in granting the Federal Service for Financial Markets extensive regulatory and supervisory powers.
