Abstract:

An innovative economy is impossible without innovations in education. Potential accumulated by universities should be used in modernizing the educational process through the network interaction and achieving the synergy effect at the regional and federal levels. It is advisable to transform the region’s higher educational institutions towards the formation of an educational consortium (industrial, territorial), in which the staff and students may be involved in the innovation activity.
