Abstract:

Based on the analysis of the main meso-economic indicators of manufacturing industry in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the article defines the problems of its economic development. Among the eleven manufacturing industries in the region, the author lists the ones in crisis. Analysis performed by the author, to a certain extent reflects the state of production assets in Russia as a whole, and her conclusions and recommendations can be successfully extended to the entire domestic industry.
