Abstract:

In order to stimulate investment activity the local governments provide municipal financial support (MFS) to business entities - investors. When making decisions to provide the MFP for investment activities the local authorities should be based on the principle of effectiveness and efficiency of budgetary funds. The authors suggest a technique allowing to determine in which case the municipal financial support can give optimal results.
