The article is devoted to venture capital investments in innovative nanotechnology projects. The author examines the structure of Russian institutions for innovation support and development as well as the size and potential of venture capital investments. He analyses several criteria, which are suggested to be used by venture capital investors when assessing effectiveness of nanotechnology projects.
