Abstract:

The article considers the mutual influence of nnovations and foreign economic activity (FEA) on the development of the region. The authors make a comparative analysis of the openness of the regional economy, as well as of the innovative potential of the Perm Region and the competing regions. They show the importance of foreign economic activity for the transition to the principles of rational environmental management.
