Nowadays the issue of establishing a mechanism for economic regulation of land relations is of particular importance. The author suggests increasing efficiency of land use by applying commercial value instead of cadastral value of land for the purpose of land tax payment. Such a measure, in her opinion, will lead to the situation when only effective land users will be engaged in agricultural business.
