The article reveals the problem of labor standardizing for management personnel at industrial enterprises in Russia as a whole, and also at defense enterprises such as "TsKBA" OJSC and "Omsky Zavod “Avtomatika" (Omsk Automation Plant) as an example. These problems are the following: discrepancy between the works performed by management personnel and their job descriptions, duplication of some administrative functions, obsolescence of the regulatory framework and inefficient use of working time.
