Abstract:

The article examines the living conditions of Russians; it considers the problem of acquisition and the structure of the occupied housing, as well as the price of apartments. The author notes the unsettling fact: the proportion of those who are willing and able now to solve their housing problems by means of mortgage, is not more than 8%. The rest of the needy only have to wait until they achieve such a level of financial well-being, which would enable them to decide on the choice, quality and quantity of a newly constructed home.
