The article discusses the model of three competencies - the concept of strategic planning. The novelty of this model is that when choosing a strategy, such parameter as the competence of the crisis is taken into account. This parameter is not considered in any of the classical portfolio models. The authors present a threedimensional model which allows the industries to comprehensively analyze the current situation and take an adequate strategic position.
