Abstract:

What determines competitiveness of the region? How can it be assessed? The authors describe their approach to the definition of this concept, based on the tri-unity of social, economic and environmental indicators. In their view, the region's competitiveness should be analyzed from the viewpoint of the concept of sustainable development.
