Abstract:

The article examines the basic functions of natural monopolies and their role in the economic development of Russia. The authors analyze the situation of natural monopolies in the national economy; define the basic principles of their activities and mechanisms for setting product prices. The authors suggest a number of measures to reform natural monopolies in order to improve their efficiency.
