Intensification is a complex and multifaceted process, therefore there are various viewpoints on the nature, criteria, factors of intensification, ways to enhance its effectiveness and its special manifestation in conditions of resource saving. Study of the theoretical foundations of agricultural production intensification will determine the ways to recover the plant cultivation potential for providing food security.
