The article considers importance of receivables for an industrial enterprise. The authors suggest a methodology for penalty application and a penalty scale. When concluding contracts, penalty application allows minimizing the risk of unjustified debt growth and preventing deterioration of the enterprise economic condition. Application of these ideas simplifies the work of professional economic services and helps to regulate their activities.
