The author considers methodical features of improving the organizational structure of the agro-industrial holding on the basis of functional approach. He proposes to apply the special features of the core competencies and functional outsourcing. Application of this method will allow agro-industrial holdings to move from an inefficient organizational management structure to a flexible system responding to any changes in the external environment.
