The article analyzes the economic positions of international and national oil companies, the main focus of their investment activities. It discusses the problem of improving the efficiency of investment, as well as minimizing the economic risk of investment projects through the use of techniques to improve the accuracy of prediction and evaluation of investment attractiveness of these projects.
