In this study are analysed the trends in the venture capital development, which are manifesting due to the financial crisis. Negative tendencies are demonstrated in the venture capital fundraising as well as in the venture capital investment, but the strongest negative effect is observed in the venture-backed exits. This tendencies start from the beginning of 2008, but the most strongly they display in the last quarter of 2008 and the first quarter of 2009 year.
