Abstract:

Knowledge is increasingly recognized as companies’ important competitive advantage. However, in companies knowledge management is often organized without considering needs and views of those who directly possesses and transfers nowledge. This article addresses the problem of motivating employees for knowledge activity which is a crucial component of the overall knowledge management initiative within the company.
