The project approach to the international exhibition activity reduces efficiency of participation of Russian industrial enterprises in the exhibition events. The project approach considers the international exhibition activity as an organization of separate actions without taking into account special features of the modern international industrial show which is an event of economic and political significance. Solution to the problem is a systematic approach to this activity, formation of management mechanism of the international exhibition activities as a business process within a common foreign economic strategy and on a common resource base.
