According to the results of 2008 the amount of new transactions for leasing operations has decreased by 26,5% in comparison with 2007. Such situation is caused by sharp reduction of finance opportunities for the leasing companies which activity is determined by a high degree of dependence on volumes, periodicity and availability of borrowed funds. What sources of finance should the leasing companies count on in the future? The article gives the answer to this question.
