The article examines changes in business cycles since the beginning of the 20-th century to the present day. How do economic crises arise? How do well-known economists of different times explain their nature? What should we learn and understand today not to fall into the trap of the strengthening market economy and its regulation tomorrow? These questions are discussed in the article.
