Can a municipal health institution use outsourcing to reduce its own costs? And if so, in what part of its activities? To answer these questions, the author identified the types of health and nonmedical services, revealed the specifics of use of outsourcing in medical institutions, including non-core activities, estimated its advantages and disadvantages.
