Abstract:

In the setting of the constant changes in the environment of the commodity and service market associated with the processes of evolution and development of the "economy of knowledge," the most pressing questions are the ones related to the innovation-oriented solutions and approaches in the system of vocational and corporate education, training, and development of professionals. The author presents the conceptual model of a virtual corporate university as an innovative mechanism of the interaction between state educational institutions and business community. The author also gives coverage to the other possibilities of the information and network interaction between the agents of the education market with a view to create the unified competence model that meets the contemporary requirements of the labor market.
