Abstract:

Being the basis of the national innovation system, the inter-regional innovation system is based on the innovative strategy, policy and potential of the regions. The author offers an innovative mechanism that promotes development of the technological base of the region and improvement of competitiveness. The necessity of creation of the North Caucasus innovation system, which would have a distributed structure and provide for creation of conditions for the formation of breakthrough innovation economy in each region of the North Caucasian Federal District, is substantiated.
