Abstract:

An analysis of the role of foreign capital in the development of the Russian economy is presented. Indicators that characterize the innovative potential of the Russian economy are considered, their impact on the inflow of foreign direct investment is assessed. It is shown that, despite the positive trend of recent years, the nature of foreign capital is not sufficient for development of the high-tech innovation base of the domestic economy.
