Abstract:

This article presents problems of human development on the example of the Far Eastern Federal District that is one of the most controversial and unstable regions in the Russian Federation. According to the authors, personal consumption has a decisive influence on the formation and development of a person having specific knowledge, skills, and abilities. The article shows the negative trends in the development of human potential in the Far Eastern Federal District.
