Abstract:

Ecological innovations as a factor of sustainable development of a country are discussed in the present article. The article examines the notion of ecological innovations (or simply eco-innovations) and the reasons for companies to engage in eco-innovative activities. It also analyses the influence of the state on the eco-innovative activities in Russia. The index proposed by the author allows to determine the priority of implementation of innovative projects within the framework of Conception of sustainable development. The maximal values correspond to the most prioritized projects.
