Abstract:

New approaches to management of national research HEIs (Higher Educational Institutions) are reflected in the Article. The main provisions of the forementioned approaches are: – the transition from the existing vertically integrated management structure, ineffective in the conditions of innovative activities, to the horizontal structure of HEI management which is more productive in such conditions; – evaluation indicators of HEI priorities depending on the current market situation; – a variative approach to the HEI management; – possible direction of cost saving in HEIs.
