Abstract:

The article discusses the basic models of economic growth, taking into account the factor of human capital. To select the best model for describing the economic dynamics of the Republic of Bashkortostan testing of R. Solow and Mankiw-Romer-Weil’s models was performed basing on the maximum likelihood method. It is proved that the model of Mankiw-Romer-Weil better works for the purposes of description of the economic growth of the region.
