Abstract:

Oil and gas complex – is the foundation of Sakhalin Island economy. Regional budget, employment and environmental condition on the Island depend on the success of these complexes. The article considers the current situation of oil and gas complexes in Sakhalin Island. The most cruitual issues are highlighted, which should be solves asap. An innovative approach is proposed as a solution. Among the range of the innovations available at the present time, the article describes and proposes only the most effective ones, which will be able to solve the current problems for oil and gas complexes , taking into account the specific features of Sakhalin Island: not developed infrastructure on the Island, remote locations of the fields from the processing facilities and consumption of HC, necessity to reduce the impact of oil and gas complexes onto the environmental condition of the Island.
