The corruption factor has a negative impact on the quality of public administration, the legitimacy of public decisions and the level of public trust. The article explores new tools of digital economy, and analyzes its role in minimizing corruption. State and municipal authorities are faced with the task of digital transformation into full-fledged digital governments, functioning on the basis of new approaches to the architecture of management decisions, as well as the implementation of state programs. The novelty of the material presented in the article is the attempt of a comprehensive comparative analysis of the role of digital technologies in the structure of anti-corruption policy and ways to improve the efficiency of public governance in conditions of the new globalization and the fourth industrial revolution. The authors conclude that the effect of digitalization has a significant impact on making government processes more inclusive, effective, accountable and transparent, and thus significantly reduce the corruption component at all levels of government: from federal to municipal.
