In the context of the transition of the Russian economy to market principles, the adaptation of the existing healthcare system to the challenges of our time is particularly relevant. That is why the development of an effective innovation policy in healthcare institutions becomes a priority for all levels of its work. The formation of the principles of state policy in healthcare will lay the strategic foundations for the development of innovation policy in the healthcare system. The development, qualitative and quantitative assessment of indicators that characterize innovation activity will allow us to assess the results of the existing innovation system and, if necessary, improve them.
