One of the proofs of necessity of innovative activities improvement in Russia is lower GDP value per capita, notwithstanding presence of a huge resource potential as compared New Zealand, which has significantly higher indices. Adoption of New Zealand best practices in the sphere of the innovative activities support can give positive results and stimulate more active implementation of research results by Head Officers in Russian enterprises. Special attention should be paid to governmental support of innovations in New Zealand. The government of this country considers increase of the innovative activities as a source of strengthening national economy, since successful implementation innovations allows to improve export, decrease the expenses and provide more productive resource use, increase the number of job vacancies and increase profits.
