Abstract:

European countries experience in the innovative development, particularly, that of Finland and Sweden, is analyzed in the Article. Special attention is paid to the role of state in development of innovative processes in the countries under study. Practice of national innovation systems of these countries shows that an efficiency of innovative activities in the country depends on the degree of interaction level between science and business performs. It is true that effective innovative policy of Sweden and Finland is based on modern large scale state investments in science and education, and also on arrangement of necessary conditions for quick commercialization of scientific research results.
