Today, in the context of globalization, corruption is trying to seep deeper into public life, which ultimately leads to a violation of the principles of social justice, and also impedes the successful and dynamic development of each state. In the context of the globalization of the economy in every country, there is a need to seek and implement new methods and approaches to ensure the economic security of the state. Because, economic security is the basis for ensuring the national security of the country as a whole and its sustainable socio-economic development. The existence of the shadow economy is a very serious factor determining the prosperity of economic crime, which creates the conditions for the corruption of society. Therefore, a more detailed study of the essence of this phenomenon is necessary.
