Abstract:

Assessing the importance of creative industries and their role in the modern economy is a priority task, which allows to determine the guidelines of state economic policy and support in this sector of the Russian economy. The specificity and factors hindering the development of creative industries in Russia are revealed. Using the models of creative industries, a dynamic relationship between the growth rates of this industry and other sectors of the economy based on a number of Russian regions has been revealed. The classification of creative industries by the degree of necessity of state intervention in their economy is given. The innovative activity of several regions of Russia is analyzed.
