Foreign private investing has become a key factor of market capitalization in host African economies, their economic growth, and the structure of commerce with other regular partners, including Russia. The purpose of the article is to find priority directions of effective Russian long-term investment strategy in Africa. It is necessary to valuate stagnant bilateral business ties between Russian and Africa. The scientific novelty consists of reasoning that direct stimulation of Russian-African investment relations and their multilateral support can become a driver of sustainable economic development, expansion and diversification of business links between Russia and the African countries within the next 5-7 years. The article gives pieces of practical advice on how to boost flows of Russian investments to Africa and to improve their regional and industrial composition. Perspective directions of Russian business policy in Africa and the new channels of foreign trade have been explored for the purpose of expanding Russian investments to Africa
