The article examines the requirements for the creation of educational laboratories based on modern approaches the organization of educational process in the economic university. The author studied organizational aspects of the creation of the educational laboratories, the necessary logistical and methodological support. We consider two forms of educational laboratories: stationary and virtual, and their integrated form. It is proposed to use a project method for the development of methodical material, educational laboratories of the Institute. The authors explored the possibilities of simulation modeling of economic objects in virtual learning labs and proposed version of the enhanced learning environment in the laboratory.
