World trends show a steady increase in female entrepreneurship. Despite the significant role of female entrepreneurship in creating jobs and improving the welfare of society, the paths of its development are subject to great obstacles associated with both national models and practices of entrepreneurship, as well as with the general problems of the financial wound. The article discusses the current state and potential of the development of female entrepreneurship in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Based on the analysis of statistical data and the results of the implementation of microbusiness support programs, the main problems and trends in the development of female entrepreneurship are determined
