The Arctic vector strengthening, typical for Russian recent years politics and economy, dictates the necessity of economic efficiency increasing of industrial and entrepreneurial activities, and of the life quality of the population of the Arctic territories. The indicated development trend requires a search for possible solutions of the existing problems in social and economic spheres. In this regard, the aim of the work was to study the potential of social entrepreneurship as a new area of activity of the Arctic companies in the framework of corporate social responsibility. The development of social entrepreneurship in Russia, and especially in its Arctic regions, is of particular relevance, since social entrepreneurship is not only an internal resource of the territory, but also a self-development factor, which allows us to create more successful ways and directions in solving economic, social and environmental problems using innovative and creative potential of the population of Russian Arctic or Arctic territories.
