Abstract:

The concept of "business model", which has a wide range of interpretations, is considered in this article as a cognitive system that helps the manager to effectively implement the processes of commercial organization management. Interpretation of the business model as a cognitive scheme is how managers represent the business model in their minds, analyze the external environment of the organization, as well as what cognitive abilities are involved in the process of choosing a particular business model. Presenting the business model as a cognitive framework also involves thinking, exploring opportunities for value creation and its further application. In general, according to supporters of the cognitive interpretation of the concept, the business model is an implicit mental scheme, and therefore has no material manifestation and formal conceptual understanding. In addition, the cognitive system serves as a communication device to achieve the goals of the organization, solving the problems of communication in the process of distribution of authority among employees.
