Abstract:

This paper describes the organization and financing of wastes management projects in the cities of Kinshasa. The purpose of this article is to analyze the assets of the public sector in order to predict the future. The article proposes a regional scheme of wastes management by special public and private operators. The particular attention is paid to the need for private investments in the public administration to improve wastes management capabilities.
