The complexity and diversity of such a phenomenon as migration dictates the obvious need for a systematic state approach to the formation of the necessary infrastructure for the sociocultural adaptation of labour migrants in the Russian Federation, ensuring the mutual interests of both the receiving state and visiting labour migrants. At the present stage, in the sphere of sociocultural adaptation and protection of labour migrants there is no necessary comprehensive systemic state approach, the main work related to the adaptation of labour migrants is carried out by public organizations and diasporas structures. One of the ways to solve the problem of illegal migrants, allowing them to get out of the shadows, could be an amnesty proposed by Federation of Migrants of Russia. Also the proposals aimed at creating the necessary infrastructure for the socio-cultural adaptation of labour migrants are of practical importance.
