In world history, industrial revolutions have always led to significant increases in productivity. In the unfolding 4th industrial revolution, there is a radical shift in the integration and cooperation of enterprises, as well as business processes of enterprises due to the development of digital technologies. The article presents an overview of the results of studies conducted in different countries and devoted to the search for an answer to the question, what mechanisms of interaction of enterprises contribute to productivity in the revolution "Industry 4.0". The factors, elements and main mechanisms of increase of productivity of joint work in engineering and production, and also indicators of efficiency of cooperation are allocated. The mechanisms of structural integration and cooperation of high-tech industries, service organizations, development institutions in complex economic systems in accordance with the concept of Industry 4.0 are proposed.
